NOTICE TO KINGSLAND WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION MEMBERS

The current increase in real estate activity and the growth KWSC has experienced in the past few years necessitated hiring an outside engineering firm to perform a comprehensive study of our water distribution system.  The engineering study has identified essential projects through 2035 over and above our regular operations and maintenance activities.  Our priority is to ensure that everyone can have an adequate supply of quality water into the future. 

Since the flood of 2018, our staff has made every effort to identify items to minimize any service disruptions to identify potential problems and mitigate any adverse effects to you.

Funding of these future needs, KWSC will utilize money from reserves and net income to the corporation.  We have projected that there will be a shortfall in revenues and that it is necessary at this time for a small rate increase.  This is the first rate increase in approximately 9 years as we have strived to keep costs down to you, it is now time to make sure that we continue to provide the best service to you into the future.

Effective October 1, 2021 the base rate per month will be increased from $25.00 per month to $27.50 per month.  The monthly cost per thousand gallons will remain unchanged, however a new conservation rate tier will be added.  All monthly water usage over 50,000 gallons per month will be charged at $9.00 per thousand gallons.  Please call our office at 325-388-6611 if there any questions.
